Seller Description

I will do my best to describe this vehicle with as much detail as possible.  If you have any questions or concerns, please message me.  This vehicle will be sold to the HIGHEST BIDDER!!  The auction will start low.  Please have payment ready if you are purchasing this car.

I purchased this car from Texas about 16 months ago with the intentions of rebuilding the car.  I bought the car sight unseen and only had 4 pictures.  I knew the car was not perfect, but the previous owner did NOT disclose all the issues with the car.  I will disclose everything that I have found, but please note that I have only put about 5 miles on the car since I have owned it so drivability wise, I can't comment too much.

The vehicle has 122,xxx miles and will not go up as it is currently parked.  The car is a 5 speed manual as all the vehicles were.  It is silver with blue interior.  I purchased the car with aftermarket wheels on it but was able to track down a set of original wheels.  The tires on the wheels will need to be replaced.  The hold air but there is VERY little tread left.

I have put BRAND NEW suspension in the car, they are ST coilovers, and if you know anything about ST, they are owned by KW Suspensions, so it's pretty much a V1 KW coilovers, as they don't make a kit for this car, but they do have all the components, so I actually pieced together a custom ST coilover kit.  The car also had a brand battery.  Those are the only 2 items I have added to the car.  I will be selling on another auction, some of the other items I bought for this car but never installed; Kenwood speakers, Kenwood subwoofer, Rotora Big Brakes (6 piston Front, 4 piston Rear) and maybe the custom VIP Modular 3 piece wheels.

I have also put a brand new windshield on the car with new trip around it.

Now for all the bad things that I know of:

The front suspension is tweaked, I don't know which side, but from what I can tell, it may be both sides but its really hard to tell without pulling it apart I noticed it when I put the aftermarket wheels on it and one wheel stuck out and they other was flush, it may be fixed with an alignment, but I'm not totally sure.

I believe the left rear suspension is bent and I believe that happened during transport, as it's bent backwards, you can tell in the pictures.

There are cracks along some of the seams on the strut mounts. (pictured)

There are small blemished and cracks on the interior (all pictured)

The headliner is coming down (pictured)

The rear sub frame mount that is common to break on these was repaired VERY poorly (no pictures) and I would imagine that it would have to be done properly. (This was done prior to my ownership)

The front bumper is missing the grills.

One of the side markers on the front bumper is cracked.

The cooling fan was removed from the engine and only has the electrical fan.

The rear view mirror dimming feature doesn't work as the fluid has bled.

There is wear on the seats as pictured.

One headlight it brand new while the other is very oxidized.

Some of the window tint on the windows has been partially removed but not finished (that was me)

It has a custom exhaust on it, Magnaflow.

The car starts right up every time.  It has no hesitation and drives as it should.  The transmission goes into all the gears and seems smooth even though it is a little sloppy.

The vehicle does have an engine oil leak.  It leaks about 2 drops a day or so?

There are a couple dents on the car, which are both pictured.  The front bumper has paint peeling.

The left front fender liner is missing.

The airbag light is on.

I have disclosed everything that I know about the car, if I remember something else, I will post it.  If you see anything in the pictures you need more information or just have any other questions please send me a message through eBay or you can text or call me.

I am into the car as it sits for just over $15,000.  I am starting the bidding at $6,000 which is a huge loss for me but this car has just put a bad taste in my mouth and have lost ALL interest in bringing her back to life.  I'm sure with some elbow grease and dedication, she will purr like a kitten again.

This vehicle has a CLEAR Texas title.  This car was imported into Canada and is currently located in Surrey, BC.  If you are a US buyer, I will transport the car back to Blaine, WA at my expense where it will be stored until picked up.  If you are a Canadian buyer, you are welcome to pick up the car at my house.  If you are a Canadian buyer, the car will need a recall letter, and RIV inspection, both of which I will gladly help you with, it will be cheaper than going through a BMW dealership (about half price)

Pretty sad story for this coupe. It would be a great project for somebody though. It definitely needs some TLC, but at least this time the seller is disclosing all the issues. Hopefully it will find a good new home.
