Seller Description

Up for sale is my beautiful M coupe. I hate to let her go but its the best financial move for me right now. I bought the car about a year ago with 138k and immediately threw some work into it to make it look as new as possible. Serious inquires please email me at pablor32@gmail.com. Price is fairly negotiable however I will not entertain obvious lowblows. In owning this car, you are owning a piece of BMW perfection. Thanks for the view, please feel free to ask any questions.

My name is Pablo Restrepo and im the proud owner of a 1999 MZ3 Coupe currently with close to 148k miles. I’ve had the car for close to a year now and it’s been nothing but a dream driving this car. It’s been all the bit of M-goodness there is, but I’m feeling I need a little more space so I figured I’d post up to see if anyone would be interested in trading a similarly MINT E36 M3 for my M coupe. To give the public an idea of how meticulous I have been with the M coupe I will give you a summary of what has been changed/replaced upon my ownership and will also post later in the thread what I’d like from an M3 at this point. Here goes.

Basic specs:
-1999 M coupe. Silver exterior quality 9/10 interior Black/blue interior 9/10
- 148k miles. High, but all well maintained. All previous owners apparently kept up on every maintenance issue. 2 of them were/are BMW techs.
- Front end and wheels have been repainted just to restore this car to its legendary status. The hood and bumper were redone and the fins on the side gills were painted Satin Black, nice little touch when paired with my black kidney grilles and tints JCar was repainted at AF collision in Pompano Beach and is in great shape.
- Regular oil maintenance and filters as well as cooling system issues all overhauled with OEM stuff. Oil gets changed every 3500-4000 miles religiously with Redline 10-w40 (I think??) and the water pump and thermostat/and housing were all done around 141k along with suspension install.
- Suspension/tires/brakes/clutch/shifters/exhaust/bushings were all done TASTEFULLY in an OEM+ manner. TCK coils were installed and are not slammed, rides beautiful. Clutch was swapped out with an UUC E34 M5/LTW flywheel combo. Short shifter and DSSR were installed as well as well as SS clutch line. Guibo and all seals as well as shifter pins were done new. It grabs really well and shifts precise, no slop.
Exhaust was custom welded 2.5in header back-resonated-catless-Scorpion muffler exhaust system. Sounds really sharp, does not rasp at all, and does not drone. Was driven back and forth to NY and FL round trip this summer and car performed flawlessly and no drone was experienced.

My ideal E36 M3 looks like my M coupe: A fine aged, mature, still refreshed M3. Kinda like a really hot MILF with reallllly good genes haha
It should ideally have:
-Moderate miles
-Estoril Blue>> Dakar Yellow>> Hellrot Red> Silver> Black kind of in order of preference.
-AC blows cold! I live in south FL guys
-Paint should look really nice and should clean up really nice with a good wax. Not too many visible imperfections
-Any OEM+ BMW M accessories would be nice, as well as LTW wheels J
-Never owned a convertible, but open to the idea
-All electronics work, aftermarket radio is cool is tastefully done
-OEM+ mods are cool also, any exhaust stuff that sounds classy, black kidney grilles, black side moldings OEM black plastic is a must, please no color matched.
-Clears/Ambers front and rear is cool, whichever works
-OEM wing or not is cool as well,
If theres any interest please contact me at pablor32@gmail.com. I promise anyone who lays their eyes on my car gets mesmerized by its curves and just how sharp it still looks. People cant believe it’s a 99 and I cant believe I’m actually thinking of trading it. Just need more space that’s all and love the S52/E36 platform. I'd like a pretty even trade with only optional shipping needing to be arranged on separate orders.

10/4/10 Update - Sold on Ebay for $14,500

9/13/10 Update - Posted on Ebay with a buy-it-now of $15,000

9/12/10 Update - Price drop to $11,990 from $14,000 which seems pretty good to me.

9/8/10 Update - Added some interior photos and now seems to be asking $14,000 which is a little better than the previous $16,500.

This is one of just 13 coupes in arctic silver over estoril blue. It looks to be in nice shape on the outside considering the high mileage. He really needs to post some interior and engine shots. I posted both his Roadfly and Bimmerforums ads because they have slightly different information. It sounds like he has done some good upgrades and maintenance, but the price still seems kind of high for the mileage unless it's immaculate. He's also looking to trade for a 96-99 M3.
