I bought this car hoping to drive the wheels off it and complete several roadtrips. After a year of ownership that has not come fruition so this "shoe" needs a new steward. I've driven the car 1600 miles with 650 of those miles coming from my fly-n-drive purchase in FL. I don't have a garage at my house so this has been kept off-site, which is the primary reason the miles have accumulated so slowly over the last year (an unseasonably nasty NC winter didn't help either). Car is complete joy to drive, power builds in a very linear fashion over 3k RPM and the engine sings gloriously once the RPMs climb towards redline. It's a very analog experience that most modern cars have been incapable of replicating for the better part of the last decade. There's a slight on-center vagueness as there is with cars of this era, but once you go apex hunting the steering is precise and the hydraulic rack allows complete communication with the front-end.

Most recent maintenance completed by Korman Autoworks (Greensboro, NC)
November 2017: oil service (OE Castrol) and reset; transmission, differential, brake fluid services (RedLine)
April 2018: BMW OE crank position sensor replacement, coolant change, front roundel and door handle surrounds replaced
April 2018: New AGM battery

- No reported accidents, original paint and all original VIN stickers on all panels. Clean AutoCheck report as of 4/2018; Clean NC title in my name
-Sold new in California where it resided with original owner until 2012 (88k miles)
-Extensive receipts from original owner (and others), much of the vehicle's servicing was done at Dinan in Mountain View, CA
-Sold to 2nd owner in AZ, where it resided until 2013, when it went to 3rd owner in FL

Modifications/enhancements/maintenance items (list is not complete, see Service History)
-Dinan Stage 1 Software Flash (Adds 10 HP and removes the speed limiter)
-Dinan Stage 2 Suspension (replaced Dinan Springs w/ H&R to lower an additional inch, Koni adjustable shocks)
-Dinan front strut brace
-Turner throttle kit w/M50 manifold
-Subframe was replaced by Dinan
-Dinan/Fikse FM5 Wheels (rare) 8.5x17 & 10x17 BF Goodrich tires w/ about 7k miles on them (tire manufacture dates mid/late 2014)
-Rotors and pads replaced approx. 7.5k miles ago
-LeatherZ moonroof shade
-Guibo replaced in 2015
-Shifter pins (5th gear lean) replaced
-Coolant system replacement by 2nd owner (no receipt to confirm but est'd to have occured around 88k miles per 3rd owner)

Transparencies - interior exhibits several aged Z car imperfections
Seat bushings are worn
Glove box sags
Typical bolster wear, this can definitely be restored without leather replacement, eg: Fibrenew
Bezel around shifter has cracked by a/c control
Passenger floor mat grommet (outermost/door side) is MIA
Exterior - touch-up paint in several areas due to road rash or chips
Passenger side rear bumper is missing paint due to road rash, BMW touch-up paint provided
Wheels have some rash on outer lips (couple 1 or 2" spots), barrels shine up nicely but like any older aluminum wheel there's only so much polishing you can do by hand if you're seeking a chrome-like finish, fortunately centers are painted
Mechanical- Korman noted that the rear swaybar links should be replaced at the oil service due to age
They also noted slight moisture/dampness at one of the rear axles (left diff) but did not recommend any action at this time as any fluid loss would be negligible (see pictures)

I'm happy to show the vehicle to interested parties. I'll do my best to accommodate but I do have to retrieve it. Also happy to discuss a PPI if that interests you. Please do not waste your time or mine; I am not interested in trades. Also please realize if you plan to finance this car, no bank is going to write you an auto loan for more than 120% of NADA retail value, which is currently about $13,000. Hagerty values a 99 M Coupe in 3 condition at $23,600. I had no issues getting agreed upon value insurance policies up to $25,000. Feel free to research using http://www.mcoupebuyersguide.com/

This coupe is full of great upgrades including Dinan/Fikse wheels, subframe reinforcement, and M50 manifold. It's also had a lot of maintenance. The price seems very fair to me.
