This 2000 BMW M Coupe is a great car and a rare car, fewer than 2100 were produced for the US market. It has the S52 3.2L in-line 6 cylinder engine with 240 HP. Added components include, Dinan carbon fiber cold air intake, Dinan stage two engine mapping, Dinan strut tower brace, Magnaflow exhaust.
Suspension upgrades include, front and rear Koni adjustable ride height kit with custom valving, Meyle Heavy Duty control arms, tie rod assemblies, and sway bar links all with Powerflex Polyurethane offset bushings. Also adjustable Camber/Caster Plates set to negative 2.5 Degrees. Sportline Wheels 19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 rear on Yokohama Neova AD08 tyres 245/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear. All this equates to an incredible handling car with unbelievable high speed stability. ( it s like it s on rails )
I am the third owner of the car. I bought it with 80000 miles on it. The list of things I ve had replaced by BMW includes, Advanced Clutch Technology Heavy Duty Performance Clutch and Pressure Plate, ACT Performance Flywheel, witch is 7 pounds lighter than O.E. Improving throttle response and acceleration. Other service work includes new air conditioner dryer, expansion valve, drive belt and recharge, air conditioning works great. Most recently installed is new BMW Clutch Slave Cylinder, Stainless Steel Clutch Line , Master Cylinder, and new Clutch Pedal Assembly with new springs and bushings. The brakes have also been upgraded using drilled and slotted rotors with Hawk Street Sport brake pads. Less than 1000 miles on the new Yokohama tires. I replaced head light assemblies with more modern type with Halos. The originals come with the car.
Other extras that come with the car include the original five spoke 17 inch wheels with new tyres, Thule Aeroblade roof rack system, new BMW sun shade, new BMW M front floor mats in unopened package, and a service manual.
This is a really great car and a joy to drive and probably the only one in your town!
