Seller Description

Up for sale is a BMW 2000 M Coupe. The car is in fantastic condition. It runs very well and the body is in perfect condition. You will not find a better M Coupe. It is nicer than most of the cars twice the price. I bought this car off of eBay about four years ago. It had a rebuilt title from the State of Ohio. I flew to the car and I drove it back to Georgia and got a new State of Georgia title that is also a rebuilt title.

This car is extra nice because of the expensive M5 wheels and low profile tires. Yes they offset and correct. They just set it off perfectly. I have driven it a lot and really enjoy how responsive and fun it is to drive. This is your chance to get a rare and getting even more rare M Coupe that is a true collectors vehicle at a such a low price. I really have not did anything to this vehicle except drive it. The BMW M5 wheels that are on it were already installed when I purchased it. The only thing it needs is a remote key fob. You can get one at a BMW dealership. I have just been using the key to open the doors. Once again, there is nothing wrong with this vehicle the body is straight. I do not know why it was a salvage rebuilt I was told that possibly an engine fire caused it when it was newer. The motor was entirely redone according to the previous owner. My BMWmechanic verified that the engine had been rebuilt correctly. It is very fast and smooth running. Oh, and I am not a kid I am 48 years old and take care of all of my toys. This is one fun car that is gorgeous and a real eyecatcher. There is also an extra M5 wheel that goes with the car. The others have been smoked darker to look better with the silver this one has not been done yet, just a spare just in case.

Sold 8/22/12 - Sold to a high bid of $13,750

8/21/12 Update - Bidding now up to $13,600

8/20/12 Update - Reserve met at $13,500 which is a pretty good deal

8/16/12 Update - Back on the market with a buy-it-now price back at $15,000

6/20/12 Update - Auction ended with a high bid of $12,545 which did not meet the reserve

6/13/12 Update - Buy-it-now price of $15,000 has been removed. It it now starting at $12,000 with an unknown reserve.

The body does look to be in very nice shape. The AutoCheck report does not mention the cause of the salvage title. It has a couple mods including Dinan exhaust, Dinan strut tower bar, LeatherZ Mark2 armrest, ACS pedals, OEM mid-hatch spoiler, and clear bumper lights. I'm not really a fan of the M6 wheels as they look huge, but I think the price is fair even with the rebuilt title.
