Seller Description

This 1999 BMW M Coupe shows just 56k miles and is finished in Imola Red over a Dark Gray/Black Nappa leather interior. During the seller’s 13 years of ownership, the car has only been driven around 2,300 miles and was stored in a climate-controlled garage. Power comes from a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six backed by a five-speed manual gearbox, and modifications include a UUC shifter and aftermarket ECU software. Brake and clutch fluids have reportedly been replaced several times during the the seller’s ownership, as has the coolant. This example is said to be one of just 15 produced in this color and interior combination, and it is now being offered with a clear Carfax, records from recent service, and a clean Indiana title in the name of the seller’s business.

This M Coupe reportedly retains all of its factory paint, and the seller states that matching VIN stickers are accounted for on the body panels. Cosmetic issues are said to include a few small stone chips on the leading edges of the nose, scratches on the underside of the front valance, and a few small scratches on the hood.

Oversized Bridgestone Potenza RE750s measuring 235/45 front and 275/40 rear have been installed on the 17″ BMW Roadstar alloys. Some curb rash is present on the right-side wheels and has been touched up with silver paint. The original brake calipers have been painted red and wear M logos.

Trimmed in Black and Dark Grey Nappa leather, the interior features dual heated seats, glass sunroof, A/C, Harman/Kardon stereo, and more. 56k miles are shown on the odometer.

The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was rated by the factory at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque in stock trim. In 2004, the ECU was reflashed with a Shark Injector Performance software. Maintenance during the seller’s 13 years of ownership and 2,300 miles of use has been limited to routine fluid changes, including five oil changes and replacement of the clutch and brake fluid, as well as the coolant.

The undercarriage has been cleaned and detailed by the seller. New rear shock mounts were installed a few years ago.

The included Carfax shows one previous owner, though the seller believes that there were actually two previous leasees.

Cool and rare color combo. It looks nice and all stock. It sounds like it's technically a dealer, but it's really a private transaction. I'm excited to see what it goes for.
