In July 2001 I became the second owner of this unique Estoril Blue/black and blue leather interior head turner with 9929 miles on the odometer from the Reno BMW dealer who originally sold it new with all factory options available at that time including sunroof and sound system. I have maintained her as needed using local performance BMW specialists and all work is documented and available to buyer. The coupe has been kept under cover and off road in my Tahoe garage during the winter. As of this posting it has 86,522 mi. on the odometer. New tire (I stayed with the BMW recommended Bridgestone Potenzas) and battery replacement were last done at 82,582 miles in Aug.2015. No modification to the original have been undertaken and only high end oil/filters/plugs have been used in routine maintenance. No pictures are posted. Anyone who is attracted to this listing knows the M Coupes' unique engineering and design history and there are plenty of photos on the web. There are scratches one would expect given the low ground clearance and I will take this into account in the sale pricing but she has never been in and accident. I will respond via email only. The rare performance and style never disappoints, but its time to move on. $24,000.

This coupe was purchased by one of the podcast hosts of "DWA". Very interesting (good) story behind it. The story of the purchase can be heard here: http://shoutengine.com/DrivingWhileAwesome/art-gets-a-bmw-clown-shoe-281-43268
Listing removed; looks like it sold
Very cool to find a long-time owner. It sounds like it's been babied too. I'm looking forward to photos.
