Most coupe shoppers who have been looking long enough have probably had to deal with a used car dealer or two. Most are stand-up shops with good employees, others are a little more stereotypical. I had such an experience a couple weeks ago. I thought I'd share some lessons learned.
I had been out of town at a conference all week and was sitting in the airport waiting for my flight when a new coupe listing caught my eye. The first thing I noticed was the location: Longmont, CO just 30 miles from my house. Next was the price: $14,995. The color combo of Boston Green over Dark Beige Oregon is one I haven't been around much and definitely interesting. The mileage of 72,000 was much lower than I expected for the price and the photos showed it to be nearly all original and in above average condition. I decided with it's location, it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
